Due to its fibre material, artificial grass can get hot in higher temperatures, particular during the peak Summer season; however, it can cooled by spraying with water. 

Despite popular beliefs, no you cannot use a vacuum on an artificial grass lawn as the vacuum can damage the turf blades.
